General Membership Meetings

Membership Meetings are every other month, typically on Thursday evenings. Events range from social gatherings to important programs on items such as the economic outlook.

Committees help plan and support several key aspects of the chapter’s work. They are also an ideal way to introduce you to people from a wide range of companies involved in the building industry.

PAC

The Chapter’s Political Action Committee makes contributions to candidates who understand the need for housing in our region and who are working to meet demand.

There are several key annual events that are great networking opportunities, such as the Golf Tournament each summer and the Installation and Awards event in November.

Government Affairs

This committee tracks and influences the policies of city and county governments related to home building. The BIA-LAV Government Affairs Committee is focused on the cities of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

The BIA-LAV Partnership Program provides exposure for a company member seeking to align itself with the Chapter. A portion of the sponsorship is dedicated to your attendance at Chapter events.
