Dear Board Members and Associates,
As I reflect on my time as President of the Riverside Chapter of the Builders Industry Association, I am filled with immense gratitude for the journey we have embarked on together. Your dedication and commitment to our cause have been nothing short of inspiring.
In our industry, we do more than build structures; we create homes and nurture communities. Your efforts have played a crucial role in providing comfort and shelter to many, and for that, I am profoundly thankful. The impact of our work extends far beyond the physical buildings we construct.
This past year has been extraordinary, especially in our legislative endeavors. We have achieved significant victories, overcoming challenges that once seemed insurmountable. This success is a testament to our collective strength and our shared commitment to bettering the industry and the lives of those we serve. I am incredibly proud of our accomplishments.
I cannot overstate my gratitude to the BIA staff for your tireless dedication and professionalism. Your hard work has been the cornerstone of our achievements, ensuring the smooth execution of our initiatives and the effective coordination of our collective efforts.
Looking to the future, I am excited and optimistic under the forthcoming leadership of Derek Barbour. Derek's experience and vision are invaluable assets that I believe will propel our organization to greater heights. I eagerly anticipate the new chapters of success that we will write under his guidance.
I also want to acknowledge the unique challenges we face in California. Development here is complex, but it is through our collaborative efforts and the strength of organizations like the BIA that we continue to smooth the path forward.
